Corporate Plan

TMI’s Corporate Plan identifies the Institute’s Mission, Vision and Values. TMI seeks to provide support and help to its members to assist them in their personal development in their chosen career. TMI is always accountable to the members.

Destination management is a profession and TMI is working towards attaining Chartered status. TMI seeks to ensure its members are fully engaged with the Institute and the industry, and are properly represented.

Our Aims

The Tourism Management Institute has 18 key aims which are grouped under five core themes:-

  • Policy and Advocacy
  • Continued Professional Development
  • Events, Innovation and Excellence
  • Communication and Membership Engagement
  • Maintaining the Institute’s Efficiency and Viability

The Institute should not be involved in any activity and expenditure that does not meet at least one of its identified aims. Full details on TMI’s aims can be found in TMI’s corporate plan.
