Event - TMI Annual Convention 2017
We are delighted that this year the TMI Annual Convention will take place Manchester Metropolitan University Business School on 30-31 October 2017. The convention will seek to share experiences in place making, exploring how destinations need to design their visitor offers around authentic and distinctive qualities and experiences. International best practice will be highlighted as well as a focus on our host city, Manchester, and a review of selected projects funded under the Discover England programme.
As always, the Convention will also be highlighting the most topical issues of the day in destination management practice and national policy. The programme will start on 30th October with a summit, matching academics and practitioners and will be followed on 31st by a full Convention day which will feature some of the foremost influencers in the world of policy making, destination management and creative place marketing.
The timings are as follows.
30th October Destination Futures Summit from 12 noon - 3.45pm
30th October Study Tours 3.45pm - 5.45pm
30th October AGM, Supper and networking 7pm onwards
31st October convention 9am registration, 9.25am start, finish 4.30pm
