7th International Adventure Conference Practitioner Day, 18 June

The Adventure Tourism Research Association in partnership with Laggan Outdoor Activity Centre, the University of the West of Scotland and VisitScotland, are organising the 7th International Adventure Tourism conference in Dumfries and Galloway, from 17-25 June. For the first time this year, the programme includes a practitioner day on Tuesday 18 June with keynote speakers Bruce Poon Tip, founder of global adventure company G Adventures, and Ben Morrison, founder of The FlipFlopi project. The conference, which is led by the Adventure Tourism Research Association, is expected to attract around 300 delegates who work in the adventure tourism and adventure recreation industries to Dumfries & Galloway from June 17th to 21st to help shine the spotlight on the region and its growing reputation for adventure sports activities.

A practitioner day is taking place on 18th June. Keynote speakers on the practitioner day:
