Following the TMI AGM on 10th September we are pleased to welcome some new faces but first have to say a very fond farewell to Cathy Guthrie, who has been our Hon Secretary for 23 years. Cathy has been the backbone of the organisation for a long time and everyone will miss her. We would like to thank her for all her years of hard work and her commitment to the TMI. We are very pleased that she will maintain her lifelong membership and wish her well in all she does in the future.
We welcome our new President, Amanda Lumley, CEO of Destination Plymouth and give huge thanks to our Immediate Past President, Jude Leitch, for all her hard work.
We are very grateful that our new Vice President, Tom Pridmore, is also continuing in his role as Head of CPD for now. We will be recruiting for a new position to assist Tom in this role and will be looking to appoint a new Executive Member to this post in due course. We are also delighted that our Hon Treasurer, Peter Colling is continuing in his position, as is Andrew Bateman, Head of Policy and Advocacy. Andy Woodward is moving from Head of Communications to Head of Events.
We extend a warm welcome to Susan Briggs, our new Head of Communications and to Siobhan Wilson, our new Hon Secretary.
We also welcome several new National Council Members.
