TMI Recognised Courses
This page lists higher education (HE) providerswho offer TMI recognisedundergraduate or postgraduate courses. The HE providers have demonstrated that the courses meet the criteria set out in the TMI Recognition Scheme for Tourism Courses in Higher Education. Please click the link for details of the criteria, and how to apply for recognition.
Final year undergraduate students on TMI Recognised Coursesare eligible to enter their placement report for the David Hughes Memorial Award and postgraduate students can submit dissertation reports for the TMI Postgraduate Prize, launched in 2015. The winner of each award receives the opportunity to win a year's free Associate TMI membership, complimentary delegate place at one of TMI's main conferences to network with destination management professionals and the opportunity for an informal, one to one advice session with a senior TMI member. The winner of the David Hughes Memorial also has the opportunity to speak about their placement, and the Postgraduate Prize winner is offered the chance to contribute a TMI blog post on their dissertation topic.
