Stockton Waterfront Vision

Ambitious plans in Stockton to redevelop and connect the High Street to the River Tees. Plans include an urban park, riverside plaza and land bridge structure that will connect retail to the waterfront.  A way of tackling empty shops and encourage new uses.

The site being opened up to the river is about three times the size of Trafalgar Square and Stockton Council hopes the plans will provide opportunities to boost the health and wellbeing of the town’s residents.
