TMI 2026 Student Awards
We are delighted to launch our TMI 2026 Student Awards which are once again supported by national tourist board VisitEngland, who will play a key part on our judging panel.
Knight Sedhain, joint winner of our 2025 Undergraduate Award – who is in his final year studying tourism management at University College Birmingham - shares what winning this Award has meant to him:
'Winning the TMI Student Inspiration Award 2025 was truly an honour and a proud moment for me - a meaningful recognition for my work and passion for the tourism industry. I feel more confident and reassured that I am on the right path, and I am motivated to pursue new opportunities and continue building on what I have started. I'd also like to thank TMI for providing a platform and for recognising students across the UK for the amazing work they do; there are a lot of them out there. I strongly encourage undergraduate students to apply and showcase their achievements for the TMI Student Inspiration Award 2026.’
Our TMI university partners can nominate up to 2 students to apply for our 2026 Awards:
- 2026 TMI Tourism Student Inspiration Award (Undergraduate)
- 2026 TMI Simon Curtis Postgraduate Prize
Closing date for applications: Friday 26 June 2026 (deadline to confirm names of applicants: 22 May)
As always, winners will join us at the TMI Annual Convention in Weston‑super‑Mare, 14–15 October, as part of their prize.
